Foundation Training / Advanced Training

Foundation Training:

An introduction to creating and extending WiFi Networks


10:00am–11:30am (1.5 hours)

Cost: FREE

Course Overview - Foundation

Detailed information on the Clear Flow range, an introduction to wireless networks, practical

training plus tips and tools.

What is covered? – Foundation

The sections covered are: Key points of Clear Flow products, the basics of IP addressing & subnets,

practical set up of a single and dual band access points, creating a bridge plus tips on setting up a

system and a discussion about suitable tools.

Who should attend? – Foundation

A professional installer with basic knowledge of such systems or an installer looking for an

introduction to networking.

Advanced Training:

Training session on installing a system incorporating the Core Gateway

controller unit - this training will be split into two groups - please bring a laptop in order to partake fully.

Duration: Group A - 12:00pm–1:30pm (1.5 hours) lunch provided after session

Group B - 2:00pm-3:30pm (1.5 hours) lunch provided before session

Course Overview - Advanced

Advanced course with the focus on the core gateway controller as the central management device in

the Clear Flow system.

What is covered? – Advanced

The sections covered are: Setting up a Clear Flow system with the core gateway in the system, use of

managing groups of access points, setting up the LAN and the use of VLANs, bandwidth control and

advanced features such as remote management and authentication of clients.

Who should attend? – Advanced

A professional installer who has previously attended the Clear Flow foundation training course and

has a basic knowledge of such systems.
